Macrae’s success through continued agility

Page Macrae has started in the maritime industry where it could be in the ships engine room, replacing a deck plate, to structural weld repairs on ships cranes. The shipping industry changed, the ships were in one tide and out the next.
It adapted, serviced, designed, improved, and fabricated the equipment to unload and load the ships. This has led to its materials handling product solutions performing and being the preferred option, residing in many ports around the world.
In Power Generation, from hydroelectric to the rise in geothermal, the demand increased for project and industry capability. To cope with the rigours of geothermal steam elements, it used its expertise in coded pipe welding and exotic materials, ASME pressure vessel fabrication and welding and project management to provide what the industry needed.
In the Pulp and Paper Industry, it built the new one alongside the existing tank, and during a 2-week maintenance shutdown, demolished the existing tank, lifted a new 100T duplex stainless steel tank into place and connected all the services.
